de Fatal
'de Fatal is a project of a group of artists who make shaped drawings that are exhibited as a single installation. For their shows at Takahashi Gallery in LA and KR. Space Untitled in NYC, each artist contributed three to five shaped drawings. Artists Jena H. Kim and Jee Young Sim hung the drawings in relation to one another, creating a larger composition that spanned the entire gallery. Using black and colored masking tape as line, Kim and Sim made drawings on the walls that responded to the shaped drawings and also integrated them with one another. A small project room was also added for non-shaped drawings in LA.
The artists who participated in the exhibitions are:
Amy Albracht, Mathew Arnold, Malisa Humphrey, Tesuya Katano, Jena H. Kim, Jin Kim, Steve Kopp, Brigitte Mullen, Chantelle Piato, Susie Reiss, Aya Seko, Van Stokes, Megan Sullivan, Nak Young Sung, Aaron Wexler, Kevin Wingate, Brody Condon(project room), Shane Hope(project room), and Jee Young Sim(project room).
